A short shelf, kept honestly

Who runs KlatoUS

KlatoUS is a family business in Indianapolis, Indiana. We choose every title ourselves, pack and ship each order from our Indianapolis address, and answer every message personally, usually within one business day.

The shop has two shelves: parenting & family, and marriage & relationships. Keeping it that narrow lets us know every book we sell.

Where the books come from

We are booksellers, not publishers. Every copy is a new paperback bought from established publishers, distributors and reputable wholesale suppliers, and every title is researched and reviewed by us before it goes on the site. We do not print, reprint or self-publish anything.

Questions about a title, a delivery or a return can go to contact@klatous.shop, or by phone on +1 (317) 788-0401 during our listed support hours.

Why the catalogue stays small

When a title is suggested to us, we look at what it covers, who wrote it and which edition is in print, then decide whether it would genuinely help a parent or a couple. If not, we leave it out. You can browse the whole shop in a few minutes and compare books properly.

How we choose our books

• Every copy is a new paperback bought from established publishers, distributors and reputable wholesale suppliers. We are booksellers, not a publisher.
• A title is researched and reviewed by us before it is listed — never added automatically from a supplier feed.
• We stock two subjects only: parenting and family life, and marriage and partnership.
• If a book does not help people live together better, it does not go on the shelf, however well it sells elsewhere.
• We revisit the catalogue regularly. Titles that stop earning their place are retired rather than left to pad the shop.

What we carry

Every book we list falls into one of our focused shelves:

• Parenting & Family
• Marriage & Relationships

How we work

We pack each order ourselves and ship it free across the United States by USPS or UPS. Every parcel includes a prepaid return label, and you have 14 calendar days from delivery to send a book back. Orders are processed Monday–Friday within 1–3 business days, carriers deliver on business days, and orders arrive within 3–8 business days total. Our shipping, return, and privacy terms are written in plain English — if anything in them is unclear, tell us and we'll fix the wording.
