Return & Refund Policy

We want you to be happy with the books you order. If a title is not right for you, you can send it back within 14 calendar days of delivery and we will refund it. This page explains who pays for what, how long a refund takes, and exactly what to do.

Your 14-day return window

You may return eligible new products within 14 calendar days of delivery. The window starts on the day the carrier marks your parcel as delivered. Returned items must be unused, unmarked and in the same condition you received them.

What we accept

• Returns of any book bought new from us — whether it is damaged or you simply changed your mind.
• Exchanges for a different title, within the same 14 calendar days.
• Damaged, defective, or incorrect items — replaced or refunded in full.

Books that have been written in, marked or damaged after delivery cannot be accepted. If you are unsure, email us first and we will tell you honestly before you send anything back.

How to start a return

1. Email contact@klatous.shop with your order number and the reason for the return.
2. We reply within one business day with confirmation and instructions.
3. Pack the book securely (the mailer it arrived in is fine).
4. Attach the free prepaid return label that came in your package and hand the parcel to the carrier.
5. Keep the drop-off receipt until your refund is confirmed.

What we need from you

• Contact us within the 14-day window — requests after it has closed cannot be accepted.
• Return the book unused, unmarked and in the same condition you received them.
• Use the prepaid label provided so the parcel is tracked back to us.

Exchanges

1. Email contact@klatous.shop within 14 calendar days of delivery with your order number and the title you would like instead.
2. Send the original book back using the free prepaid return label from your package.
3. We ship the new title as soon as the return is scanned by the carrier.
4. If the prices differ, we charge or refund the difference to your original payment method.

Refunds: how and when

Once we receive and inspect the return, refunds are processed within 14 days, to your original payment method, in USD. Your bank or card issuer may take a few additional days to post the credit to your statement — that part is outside our control. We email you when the refund is issued.

Shipping is free on all U.S. orders and the return label is free, so there is nothing to deduct: you receive the full amount you paid.

Damaged, defective, or wrong items

Contact us within 14 calendar days of delivery and we will replace the item or refund it in full, whichever you prefer. This matches our Shipping Policy.
