Payment Policy

This page explains how you pay for an order on KlatoUS, who processes that payment, what we can and cannot see, and how tax and currency are handled.

How you can pay

All payments on KlatoUS are securely processed by Stripe using industry-standard encryption. We do not store your payment card information.

• Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover credit and debit cards, processed by Stripe.
• Payment is taken at the time you place your order.
• Every order is paid on klatous.shop through Stripe Checkout. We do not use any other checkout, store, or payment page.

Security

Your card details are sent directly to Stripe over an encrypted (TLS) connection and are handled under Stripe's PCI DSS certified infrastructure. KlatoUS never sees or stores your full card number, and no card details are kept on our servers.

Authorizations and declined payments

• If a payment is declined, no order is created. Your bank may briefly show a pending authorization, which it releases on its own.
• If a payment fails at the last step, nothing is charged — you can simply try again or use a different card.
• Refunds are always returned to the same card used for the original purchase. See our Return & Refund Policy.

Sales tax

KlatoUS does not currently collect sales tax at checkout. Customers are responsible for any applicable use tax in their state.

Currency

All prices are listed and charged in USD.

Billing questions and unrecognized charges

Charges appear on your statement under our store name. If you see a charge you do not recognize, email contact@klatous.shop with the date and amount and we will identify it for you within one business day — please contact us before opening a dispute so we can resolve it quickly.
